Open scientific software makes methods more inspectable, adaptable, and reusable. It also gives researchers the freedom to build acquisition, analysis, visualization, simulation, automation, and data workflows around the needs of the experiment rather than a single commercial roadmap.

Colibri Platform™ is designed so laboratories can use the software and data environments selected for their research. Hummingbird Control™ controls and monitors supported Hummingbird hardware, while Hummingbird Connect™ supports defined and project-specific integration pathways with OEM, facility, and customer-selected environments. Together, these capabilities help Hummingbird systems participate in wider microscopy workflows without requiring researchers to replace the tools they already use.
